Throughout the term the 5s, 2s, and 1s prepared 3 amazing plays.
This year Mr Moore and Mrs Costin decided to direct the 5s in “The
Secret Seven”. Although the 5s only had a very few amount of
rehearsals they managed to pull through with a brilliant play.
The 2s play “BOUM BOUM”,
was directed by all the French staff, Madame O' Neill, Mrs Branfoot,
Mlle Cristine, and Mr Hogue. Although the play was “en francais” the
2s learnt to pronounce their lines quickly and well. On the final
nights they put on a great performance.
Finally it came to
our play…”Shakespeare without the Boring Bits”. Our play consisted
of 4 different parts… Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, Henry V and King
Lear. We all had about two parts each, but some only had one, but
then had loads of lines. My favourite was Romeo and Juliet, it
was very funny, and everyone in it acted really well. I was Ghostly
Messenger No.3 in Macbeth, Mrs Happy in Henry V and a dancer in King
Lear. In the end it was a great play, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

On our first play I felt
very nervous. When it came to my part and I went on all the people were
staring at me! I felt happy and a little nervous, but I made it. Also
the lights were very bright so I almost couldn't see! I also felt a
strange feeling inside. I think I had butterflies in my tummy. In fact
I wsas so nervous that I thought I had almost forgot my lines! When the
play was over I felt very pleased. I was glad I made it through without
forgetting my lines.

On the 23rd and the 24th
we did a play of The Secret Seven like the Famous FIve. I was one
of the main characters, but not one of the Secret Seven. I was
Susie. I kept playing tricks. The Secret Seven were Peter, Janet,
Colin, Jack, Barbara, George and Pam. I loved my part in the play
and I thought the play was amazing and thank you to Mr Moore and Mrs
Costin for setting it up. Also I was an old lady but I only had one
line for that.
