Burns Night

BURNS NIGHT was celebrated in traditional style complete with haggis, an ode or two, a dagger and reels...oh and a kilted piper. William St John piped the haggis in beautifully and Mr Taylor (headmas ter) man fully addressed the Ode to the Haggis (in an 'interesting' Scottish accent) and slew it at the requisite point with his dagger. Following a delicious supper of neeps and tatties, haggis filled chicken and raspberry cream with shortbread, Mrs Millar was on hand with the music to lead us through the steps of Strip the Willow and the Military Two Step. The evening finished with some of Burns' work being read and with all linking hands
