Ascension Day
1 May

Today we went to the top of the hill to do special prayers for Ascension Day. We sung a  hymn with some of the 3’s and 2’s playing their instruments and William Taylor reading the lesson from the Acts of the Apostles.

On Thursday 1 May the whole school went up the hill by Ashdown House, we sang the hymn number 87, said a prayer and read a reading from the bible then we went down the hill and changed our boots or trainers to school shoes and continued with normal lessons.

On may 1st the whole school climbed the hill for Ascension Day. We had a special prayer on top of the hill. We sung a hymn with Tom Glynne-Jones, Robert Smith and Eloise Kleinwort playing their instruments . Then Will Taylor said a reading. It was then the start of first lesson so we all went back down the hill again.
