Sports Day What a day, racing, jumping, throwing, sun, rain, clouds and immense excitement! Ashdown was resplendent today with all the things that are so much part of the Ashdown tradition. What a joy to see all the children in the school taking part in shuttle races, tug of wars and the wonderful array of track events. The leavers completed the day with a variety of innovative and challenging stalls (proceeds going to the Special Olympics who will be sending a team to the World Summer Games in China.) There was also tons of ice cream and strawberries topped off with the delightful music from the Edenbridge Brass Band who serenaded us during the afternoon. |
