Sports for all the children are played and coached seriously, but always with the idea that they should be fun for everyone. Over the years we have had an enviable record in matches against local schools, but as important are those matches played by the less able. They too like to go away for match teas and visit other schools. For boys the main games are cricket, rugby and soccer, and for girls, netball, rounders and hockey. As well as fixtures in these games, we arrange matches in tennis and golf. |

Athletics is coached in the summer term. The games fields are close to the school and there is a large indoor sports area in which can be played tennis, football, hockey and cricket (nets). The most experienced coaches are able to attend to the youngsters as well as the seniors, thanks to our staggered arrangements in the middle of the day and during the afternoon. Professionals come in from outside to coach tennis and golf. |
