Ardingly
RH17 6SQ Go to Ardingly village on Turners Hill/Haywards Heath road and take
right hand fork (travelling from north) signposted the College. The main
entrance to the College is about half a mile on the right. The pitches are
fairly widely situated so once there ask where our match is!
Brambletye
RH19 5JY (East Grinstead) From Forest Row go back up the A22 towards East
Grinstead and as you get into the 40 mph zone you will see the exit on the
left. The entrance is another 500m or so further on. From E.G. go out of the
town and turn right 100m before the left turn to Ashurst Wood.
Copthorne
RH10 3HR (Nr Crawley) Go up A22 to Felbridge and turn left onto A264 towards
Gatwick. At the large roundabout (Duke's Head pub on left) turn right and take
2nd turn on left (narrow lane) and the school is situated where the lane turns
sharp right. (If coming from London take the M23 and take the East Grinstead
exit. The Duke's Head roundabout is the second one you come to - excluding the
exit - where you take the first left. The lane is then second left as before.)
Cottesmore
RH11 9AU (near Crawley) Join the M23 via Felbridge and head south. Take 2nd(?)
exit and follow signs to Pease Pottage and Services. Go past the services to
mini roundabout where you turn right. Go past a pub (the Black Swan) on your
right and a driving range (also on right) and Cottesmore School's drive is on
your right a few hundred yards past this. A more direct, but more wiggly,
is to go to Turners Hill, Worth and at small roundabout in Handcross turn right
and travel parallel to M23 till you get to roundabout to Pease Pottage (left)
then as above.
Cranleigh
GU6 8QQ (nr Guildford) Depending on which way you approach it, Cranleigh is
between Godalming and Horsham on the B2128. The school is on Horseshoe Lane
which is at the western end of the village (turn left if coming from the west
and right if from the east). The senior school is then on your left with the
Prep School on the right.
Cumnor House
RH17 7HT (Danehill) Take A22 to Wych Cross (about 3 miles from Forest Row); go
straight over traffic lights (if green!!). Opposite the Roebuck Hotel turn
right towards Lewes. Danehill is another 2-ish miles from this junction and the
entrance to Cumnor House is just before the village on a left hand bend.
Dulwich Prep
TN17 3NP (Cranbrook) A21 towards Hastings, then A262 Ashford Road through
Goudhurst. At roundabout junction with A229 go straight on into Sissinghurst.
Turn right opposite The Bull pub and right again at first crossroads. The
school is c ½ mile down that road on left.
Eastbourne
College BN21 4JX Take
A22 from Forest Row. Through 2 sets of traffic lights at Polegate cross roads.
Take second main exit at Willingdon Roundabout (ie fork right) and go through 3
sets of traffic lights to a small roundabout (station is on the left). Turn
right and immediately left. At junction go straight over and the College is 500
yards along on the left. You SHOULD be directed to pitches from there. (For
the Astroturf, follow instructions to St Andrew’s and the pitches are on
Summerdown Road just before Paradise Drive and golf course)
East Grinstead
Hockey Club RH19 4JU - at
the large roundabout as you get to EG, go straight over and into the town. Turn
left at the 2nd mini roundabout, go over the next mini roundabout and follow
that road round and down the hill to the next roundabout where you go straight
on. Up the hill past small private road (Coombe Hill Road) and about 20m on
turn left (Saint Hill Road). EGHC is about 200m along there on the right.
Fonthill Lodge
RH19 4LY – as for EG Hockey Club (above) and Fonthill Lodge is down Coombe Hill
Road on the right.
Great Walstead
RH16 2QL (near Lindfield) Get to Lindfield (between Turners Hill and Haywards
Heath). Just north of the village pond turn left. After three-quarters of a
mile fork left and Great Walstead is half a mile-ish on the right.
Alternatively go from Ashdown to Cumnor House (as above) and continue into
Danehill village. Turn right below the church into Freshfield Lane. After
about a mile turn right at small cross roads (probably signposted Lindfield,
Walstead, Haywards Heath?). Follow this road for a couple of miles past golf
course on right and school is on the left about half a mile after this.
Handcross Park
RH17 6HF Take the B2110 from East Grinstead through Turners Hill to Handcross
village. On approaching the village turn right at the roundabout (signed Pease
Pottage) and the main school entrance is first on the right. (If going
from London go down the M23 and on to the A23. Take the exit for Handcross
(B2110) and the entrance is about a mile further on, on the left.)
Hawthorns
RH1 4QJ Take the A23 through East Grinstead and join the A25 at Godstone. Turn
left there towards Redhill/Reigate; go to Bletchingly and just past the Red
Lion pub turn right into Little Common Lane which becomes Pendell Road. The
school is on your right.
Hazelwood
RH8 0QU (near Oxted) Go up A22 and join the A25 east to Oxted, Westerham,
Sevenoaks. Go under viaduct in Oxted and at next set of traffic lights take
right-hand lane into Wolf's Row. Go past St Michael's School and 100m on take
right-hand fork into Wolf's Hill. Hazelwood is 100m on left. (From London take
the Godstone exit from the M25 and continue as above.)
Hilden Grange
TN10 3BX (Tonbridge) Go through Tonbridge past Tonbridge School on your left.
Take the left hand fork in the road at the traffic lights outside the school and
then bear right almost immediately into Dry Hill Road. The school is where Dry
Hill Road meets Dry Hill Park Road. (From London take the Tonbridge North
exit from the A21 and then go towards Tonbridge for about 3 miles. Go past the
Oast Theatre on your right and the Langley Hotel on your left and Dry Hill Park
Road is just past the Hotel signposted to Maidstone. The school is about 50m up
this road on the left.)
Holmewood
House TN3 0EB (Tunbridge
Wells) From Ashdown turn left out of the drive and follow the B2110
through Hartfield, Withyham and Groombridge to Langton Green. Go past the Hare
pub and a Texaco garage and a row of shops (all on left). As you leave the
shops the road bends and Barrow Lane is on your right. This is a particularly
nasty narrow lane so take care as you cross! Go to bottom of lane and it's
signed. A safer option is to carry on for another 100m and Holmewood Ridge is
on the right, go in there and then left into Hither Chantlers and Holmewood is
on right 50m on.
Hurstpierpoint
BN6 9JS. Off A273 between Burgess Hill (south of Haywards Heath) and
Brighton. Going south, turn right at Hassocks traffic lights, go into
Hurstpierpoint village where you will see a sign to the College, turn right and
weave down narrow lane till you reach the school.
Kent College,
Pembury TN2 4AX – through Tunbridge Wells and out to Pembury. Straight over
two roundabouts and at traffic lights go straight over (left to Pembury
Hospital, right to Pembury village). Approx 1 mile take first exit left
signposted Kent College. Go past waterworks and school is at end of road (dead
end).
Ludgrove
RG40 3AB (Wokingham) Take M3 to Junction 3. Follow A322 to Bracknell. After a
couple of miles turn left at roundabout taking B3430, go over first roundabout
and turn right at the second. After 800m turn left (? signposted Wokingham).
After a mile you pass the White Horse pub and Ludgrove's drive is the first
turning on the left past the pub. If you go over the level crossing you've gone
too far! Alternatively go down the M4 to Junction 10 then follow signs to the
centre of Wokingham. In the centre fork left onto the A321 (Sandhurst/Camberley)
and after half a mile you pass the Two Poplars pub on the left. Take the next
left (Luckley Road). At the end of that road take the right fork into Ludgrove
drive.
Marlborough
House TN18 4PY (Hawkhurst)
Go to Tunbridge Wells and then Pembury where you join the A21 towards Hastings
(if coming from London go straight down the A21!). Go to the Flimwell traffic
lights where you turn left onto the A268. As you go into Hawkhurst Marlborough
House is on the right hand side of the road almost opposite the Golf Club and
just past the 40 m.p.h. signs.
New Beacon
TN13 2PB (Sevenoaks). Go towards Sevenoaks from A25 via Riverhead. At
roundabout in Riverhead turn right into Amherst Hill (A2028). After approx 500m
turn right into Brittains Lane. Follow Brittains Lane to top (about a mile) and
the school is on the right (if you come to a junction you've gone just too
far). Please keep to the one way system within the grounds and park in front of
the Sports Hall.
Newlands
BN25 4NP (Seaford) Go to Seaford. From the town centre head towards Eastbourne
on the A259. Go over cross roads with B2108 (Downs Leisure Centre is just
before this on the left and a garage is just after on the right!). The senior
school is immediately on your left and the prep school is about 100m past this
on the left.
Rose Hill
TN4 9SY (Tunbridge Wells) As for Holmewood House and thence into Tunbridge
Wells. Past Renault garage on left and over roundabout (left-ish). Pass
Wellington Hotel on left; 200 metres later turn left into Molyneux Park Road.
Sharp bend, then S bend. After 100 metres, turn left into Coniston Avenue.
School entrance is immediately on right.
St Andrew's
BN20 7RP (Eastbourne) Take A22 from Forest Row. At large Polegate roundabout,
ignore signs to Eastbourne that take you left and continue straight over the
roundabout (!). At Willingdon Roundabout (ie fork right) take second right
exit. Turn right at next set of traffic lights into Victoria Drive. Carry
straight on at next set of traffic lights into Summerdown Road. Continue around
Paradise Drive bordering the golf course. Take next fork right into Link Road,
then right into Carlisle Road. Go straight across the cross road junction (on
Beachy Head Road) and St Andrew's is 400m down the hill on the right hand side.
St Aubyn's
BN2 7JN (Rottingdean) Go to Lewes then take A27 Lewes by-pass. After the
roundabout at Kingston take the slip road off to the left (B2123 to Falmer and
Rottingdean). This road will take you over the Downs to Rottingdean - 3-4
miles. Once you are in the village, pass the Church on your left and then the
duck pond on your right. At the T-junction turn left into the High Street, take
the 1st turning left into Steyning Road and the playing fields for St Aubyns are
half way up on the right. There is an entrance to the playing fields via the
Twitten.
St Bede's
BN20 7XL (Eastbourne) A22 to Eastbourne. Then follow signs to the seafront.
Turn right and St Bede's is at the far end of the front just before the road
bears right towards Beachy Head.
St
Christopher’s BN3 4AD
If going towards Brighton via the A23 or A27 follow the signs for Hove. At
large roundabout take Hove exit which is King George VI Avenue. At bottom of
hill take second left (Nevill Road), across small roundabout and over traffic
lights. Go under railway bridge, across pedestrian crossing and over double
traffic lights. At next traffic lights turn right into New Church Road, then
take third turning on right into Westbourne Gardens. School is on corner of
these roads.
St Leonard’s
Mayfield TN20 6PH There are numerous cross country routes to Mayfield so we
leave it to you to find the best, but Mayfield is on the A267 south of Tunbridge
Wells. It is about 8 miles south of Tunbridge Wells and you will see Mayfield
signed to the left. The school is on the right after about ½ mile.
Stoke
Brunswick RH19 3PF (Ashurst
Wood near East Grinstead) Go back to Forest Row and turn right at roundabout.
Go through the village and as you start to go up the hill fork right to Ashurst
Wood. Go past the tennis courts and forge and turn sharp right then 2nd left
into Maypole Road. Go through the built up bit and as you go past the
derestriction sign the gates are straight ahead of you.
Vinehall
TN32 5JL (Robertsbridge) take the A21, go past Robertsbridge and St John’s
Cross. After pub, come to roundabout – keep on A21 towards Hastings (do not
take Battle turning) and Vinehall is signposted on the right about 200m
further. DOGS NOT ALLOWED IN GROUNDS
Wellesley
House CT10 2DG (Broadstairs)
Go down M2 and join Thanet Way (A299). At the roundabout after St
Nicholas-at-Wade follow the signs to Broadstairs. On the town's outskirts you
will come to a roundabout where you will see Pearce Signs on your left. Go
straight on and at the next major roundabout take the first exit towards St
Peter's. Almost immediately turn right into Rumfields Road which is signposted
"to Dumpton & Thanet Technical College" (there is a BT kiosk at the start of the
road). Go past tall concrete water tower on your left, at the first roundabout
go straight on and about 50 yards on (before the next roundabout) you will see
the entrance to Wellesley House.
Windlesham
House RH20 4AY
(Washington, near Worthing) Go down the A24 towards Worthing. Go over the
Washington roundabout and after about 1.5 miles the entrance to Windlesham is
signed left.
Woldingham
School
CR3 7YA Take the A22 up past Caterham, going under the M25, over traffic lights
and to the next roundabout – turn right at the roundabout towards Woldingham
and at the viaduct turn right. The school is about a mile up this drive.
Woodcote House
GU20 6PF (Windlesham, Surrey (no relation to Windlesham House!) Go to
Junction 3 of M3 (Lightwater). North on A322 towards Bracknell/Ascot for about
200 yards to first set of lights. Turn left at lights, then U turn at
roundabout back towards A322. Go straight across lights and hug the golf course
for about ¾ mile. Left at junction for about ½ mile, then left again. About
200 yards further turn right and the school is on your right.
Yardley Court
TN11 0NJ (near Tonbridge)
Go to Tonbridge. Go over the A21 and down the hill. Go over a mini roundabout
and turn right at the bigger roundabout just as you enter the town proper.
Follow this road for about a mile. At roundabout turn left on to Woodgate Way
(signposted Tudeley, Five Oak Green, Paddock Wood and Maidstone) for about half
a mile to the next roundabout and take the last exit which is the B2017 - Five
Oak Green Road. The drive will be found on the right about a quarter of a mile
further on, signposted "The Schools at Somerhill". DOGS NOT ALLOWED IN GROUNDS
